just hanging out at the tent cabins at colter bay (jackson hole). we had lots of fun canoe adventures here, but never with our camera lest jim "accidentally" tip us all into the water along with our camera.

laine's first experience standing up behind the boat! yahoo! she kept yelling to us in the dingy "and I'm not even scared! those big waves don't even scare me!"more to come...later.

I was going to say WELCOME BACK, but then I read Meghan's comment. Where are you now??? Great pics and fun adventures. Summer is all about having fun and being irresponsible (with your blog). But now that school is in session we expect consistent updates. No excuses!

Wow! That little Lainey is such an adventuresome little princess! Thanks for the advice on the camping trip, it turned out great. We can't wait for the next one.
I love your family picture! I think it is great your family is so busy and adventurous - hopefully we will be more like that one day!
Laines "training ski's" are 100x better than those horrible things we had to learn on.
So your family picture is hilarious, and very telling. Have you considered advertising for Chaco? Or Patagonia? That whole "look at the camera and smile" thing is so overdone.

Oh I'm envious of your wonderful summer filled with everything good about summer--gardens and waterskiing and hiking! I love the exchange with the plants drinking and it's so fun to see Laine up behind the boat!

Ahhh...my world is complete again because you're back. But at the same time, it is also filled with serious envy at the pictures of adventures in my favorite beautiful places. Your blog is like a drug for me - I have to have it even if it's not always good for me...:)
