still august...boring, I know. but beachy birthdays are just too fun:
receiving her birthday phone calls
the cake - complete with sugar frogs (laine's obsession for the week)
the food roundup pinata (who knew food roundup had pinatas!)
cake on the beach and a bunch of cute and silly kids
and I can't leave out a picture of the poor frogs who were the highlight of every day at the beach (as were these darling girls who Laine ADORED, along with their other cute sibs. for you who know, Lainey sounds a lot now like a little Hannah. it's subtle, but it's definitely there!)

boring! this is what I live for! okay that might be a little extreme, but I love it.
That is soo "Jackson" to use a tire as a table for a kids party. I love it!
^^^^Looks like they used the bottom of the teather ball set for a table and then cut off the pole and used it to whack the pinata.
Also the quote at the top of your blog, the Romney quote...Can't you totally see Jim doing that as a kid?
I'm soooo happy to read your blog and see where and what you guys have been up to! Seems like we've been living in different states lately, even though you are a few mere blocks away!
I can't wait for Rom to start doing the "cat"...very fond memories of jim crouching around on all 4's and making his "raawwer" noise...do you rember that as well as I do?

Hannah was tickled to see her face posted multiple times here. Sorry about the "Hannah talk" - it's apparently beyond my power to do anything about it and beyond younger kids' power to resist.
