so much catch up

Sorry - it has been a bit like the ksl classifieds lately around here lately with all the condo talk. (see this - it is a great car and you should buy it.)

But anyway - sorry about that. Not sure where we have been! Here are some things we need to catch up on.

There was our awesome inaugural camping trip. If you want any real details you can read here instead.....

All the cup holders in our car are still full of sand. Wow. It was a lot of sand. And rocks. And wind. Seriously - I'm still finding sand in my ears a month later.

And then there was Easter. Or was it Halloween? a little hard to tell the difference at our house. This is 5 year old Hurricane in......a size 2 year old bunny costume. I'm sorry I don't have a picture of her from behind. If I did, you could see why we said she dressed up as the Easter Wedgie. And don't forget her trusty sidekick superhero.....

Hooray for T-ball where we learned that no matter what Tom Hanks says, there is, in fact, crying in baseball.

Jim and Marie completed their first sprint triathlon along with some of our favorite people! Very fun. Next up - Marie is running the Wasatch Back (a.k.a. race for crazy people.) We are kicking around an Olympic length triathlon before the summer is up. If you see a road bike at your local DI let us know. We are in the market but have no money.

We celebrated our 9th anniversary! I'm so lucky to have this girl. Wow. She is lucky that my face is less fat now then when this picture was taken. I don't have any pictures of our anniversary because to celebrate we went on a 5 mile run and I couldn't fit the camera in my tights.

Then finally there was the time when Marie's face swelled up so bad she was too embarrassed to come to church (not to mention that she was knocked out on benadryl thinking that it might have been an allergic reaction) and then we finally had to go to the doctor and get a prescription to fix it. I know she won't be happy about the picture but after nine good years I think she will forgive me.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW! Seriously wow. Where do I even start? Like always, you make being a kid at your house sound like so much fun...Easter, camping, t-ball. Can I come? :) Totally awesome on the sprint triathlon. I found an awesome deal on my bike through ksl. Good luck. I loved the happenin' update.

HAHAHAHAHA. Trading one fat face for another. That picture of Marie doesn't really do her justice; that was the weirdest thing I've ever seen, kinda like Hitch or something. Maybe marie's body is trying to tell her something like: I'm freakin SICK of veggies!

I totally agree that that picture is nothing compared to the one I saw. And I'm still dying about Laine in that bunny suit? How did I not hear about this/see this sooner? SO FUNNY!

Um...I'm pretty sure you guys make up one of my most favorite families on the planet. Especially because you have bunny wedgie suits and lots of spandex and not afraid to wear them . I am also honored that we got to be referenced in your post - honestly, my scalp still feels gritty from sand..weeks later! Yuck. I vote yes on the olympic triathlon. Yes. Yes. And Marie, what happened with your face? You still look cute with crooked face, though.

You guys are getting hard core--watch out or you will be running that wasatch back with the other crazies--if you can do a tri, you certainly can run a relay. Congrats on the anniversary!
