such a day

there's lots of Christmas happenings to catch up on, I know this. but I just needed to post one of my best gifts - not actually from anyone, and not really intentional, but how is a day skiing with my fam in the fresh and deep not a gift? answer me that.

anyway, the highlight of the day: last run, in honor of the mamba. watching my youngest brother and sister shred (and I mean SHRED) High Rustler. I'm pretty sure she was watching and smiling that big wonderful smile of hers. Merry Christmas Mom!

no pictures from today because I didn't want my camera to end up either crunched or full of snow when I crashed. but these will do:
(okay, we had been cross country skiing in this picture, but you get the idea. that's me in the red.)

YAY for a good snow day. I was hoping you were out on the slopes. And just think, you still have another one waiting in the wings...I also love that picture with you and your mom. I don't think I have seen any pictures of you as a toddler..you two make a cute pair. Your mom looks so much like your Jane to me.
