summer lovin' continued

first: the garden.

especially the parts that are still alive.

these pictures don't really give the whole story. my tomatoes are rocking, the squash are extending their vines all over the place, but pretty much anything that has the misfortune of living in my front yard HATES me. but who really cares?

I'm going to have my first crop of homegrown tomatoes really soon, and that is making up for the many other things I've severely neglected. note to self: if it doesn't say drought tolerant, DON'T BUY IT - DON'T PLANT IT!

and the cabin. (heaven.) such happy days.

Ryan and I talk about your cabin(s) allllll the time and how jealous we are that you really do have a piece of heaven that you get to go to regularly. Lucky lucky family! :)

Sorry I deleted my comment, I realized that I misspelled something and I just can't do that on Marie's blog =) Anyways it looks like Rom just wrestled a calf!

Congrats on the garden--that is a lot of hard work, and who really care about the front lawn--if it does get a little toasted it will always come back in the spring--right?!

So when I look at pictures such as these, I'm pretty sure that I want your life. Yup. Definitely want to be you. And I think the picture of Romney should be framed - the way he crosses his legs while leaning against the bench..
..so....stinkin....cute.
