we just got back from beautiful hebgen, but wonderful as it was it was lacking - so I'm posting these pictures from four years ago, when life at the cabin was still right.
i'm sure it's always hard to be there without your mom...(and grandma right?) i'm sure she was there with you all in spirit! why do you always make me teary eyed??
Your mom is a remarkable woman!! I love her smile, the sound of her voice, and her example of passionately living life. I can still remember her describing the way she would mountain bike with full-on body protection; she just wasn't going to let fear of falling stop her.
I read this right after you posted it and before anyone had commented on it, and I too was left a bit teary eyed and didn't know what to say... Even though I didn't know you mother very long, she left an imprint on me and left me inspired by the way she lived her life. I can only imagine that she turned out that way because of your grandmother and I'm sure you miss them both every day. Even though it's still sad, how lucky are we that we know the plan of happiness?
