first. I do not consider myself bound by the earlier pronouncement that all blog titles will now also be song titles. but maybe this one should be a song title.

all of these late season storms have given us a few more chances to get the kids up skiing a little bit more. Lainey thinks she is done for the season, so she decided to have a playdate instead, giving me and Jim the chance to spend some time alone with Rom on the mountain. so fun! (read: so much more fun than skiing with steady tantrums on the sidelines because another child that may or may not belong to us is not getting enough undivided attention.)

he preferred skiing straight onto the rope tow to waiting in line for the lift, so after one run down the "big" mountain, we opted for lots of little runs. he was determined to ride the tow by himself, and after a few rides of being dragged up the mountain or just falling off, he got the hang of it.
(in case you're wondering what I'm doing at the very end of this movie, I am cringing, totally sure he's going to plow straight through the blue fence things.)

Wow! Looks like he is really getting the hang of it. Way to go ROM!
Go Rom. Very impressive. Did I see in a picture that he wears glasses? So cute!
